The status of shortlisting for interview is likely to be declared during the last week of January to February 2024 based on the discipline/subject of candidates. Thereafter, as per para 5 of Advt. no. 145, shortlisted candidates will be required to confirm their willingness to appear for interview, and also select their own interview date from the interview calendar that shall be made available discipline-wise/item-wise from time to time at the RAC website.

The interview calendar for each discipline will be open only for a fixed period of time (5 days) during which the interview dates will be released incrementally (50% dates at a time only during 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.) for selection by candidates on first-come-first-served basis. As and when the interview scheduling window gets opened for their respective disciplines, shortlisted candidates will be notified through SMS/email to login at the RAC website and choose their interview date themselves.

 Candidates are advised to keep checking the RAC website to get the latest update about their interview calendar opening date.

Last date to apply for the post of Scientist ‘D’ on deputation basis (Advt. no. 151) has been extended to 30 September 2024. Candidates may however note that the crucial date for determining the age limit will remain the same as the closing date notified earlier 02 September 2024.

Further additional time of 15 days will be allowed for submission of the hard copy of online application (through proper channel) to RAC.

While processing the applications received against Advertsement No. 136, it was found that 6 candidates have filled in incorrect GATE score and have also uploaded modified GATE score card. The competent authority after going through their explanation have debarred them for applying against any DRDO vacancy for a period of three years till 30-August, 2022.
